
Midlands-Based Business Sales Communications Adminstration
Main Duties:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to form the basis of a new communications administration department. Excellent numeric, verbal and written skills are essential, combined with an ability to maintain detailed and concise notes relating to customer and internal requests, supplier responses and associated actions.
Daily duties will include:
- Processing online credit checks and handling declines in an attempt to reverse any negative decisions
- Activating new mobile phone, landline and broadband accounts via both manual spreadsheet templates and supplier's online portals
- Communicating with end users, suppliers and internal account managers, keeping all parties fully up to date on progress and challenges
- Managing end user tariff changes during the life of contracts, recommending and applying additional services where required
- Ensuring internal customer account information is updated following changes and successful connections
- Obtaining signed end-user contracts and storing them, along with other related documentation in a searchable, easy to access central location
- Jointly supporting internal account managers where required in all aspects of the company's communications division
Essential Personal Attributes:
- An excellent telephone manner and positive 'can-do' attitude
- You will be an excellent communicator - verbal and written - for effective contact with business professionals, suppliers and colleagues with different levels of knowledge and experience
- You will have good organisational and administrational skills
- Be fully familiar and competent with common personal computer applications/programs inc. Word, Excel, Outlook, Entourage and Explorer and have competent typing skills
- You will have a desire to contribute towards team targets, resulting in the opportunity to share the associated rewards
Advantageous Attributes
- Minimum 2 Years experience involved in an administration role, ideally within the communications industry
- A clear understanding of fixed, mobile, voice and data technologies
- An ability to accurately follow instructions within a fast pasted environment
- Preferably come from a business-to-business (B2B) focussed environment
- Customer Service Experience
- A passion for the Apple platform, including iPhone
Salary Package:
Basic £14,000 + performance related earnings to an initial maximum of £250 per quarter
